So That Baylor Game Didn't Go As Planned...

Um yeah, the college football season got off to a whimper for me, as my Bears got beat 41-13 by Wake Forest. We'll see if Wake Forest turns out to be an ACC contender as I predicted. I have to say though, it was great to turn on the television and see college football.

The highlight of the night for me was that I think Baylor solved their quarterback controversy, finding that true freshman Robert Griffin could be something special. If you haven't seen it yet, check out this highlight from last night's game, where he looks like he's about to run out of bounds and completely fakes a defender out and gains another 20-25 yards. He won the Big 12 400 meter hurdles this spring....as an early high school graduate! Nearly qualified for the US Olympic Trials, and he sure looks like the face of Baylor football for the next 4 years.


So many more games to watch this weekend. I love it!
